Iron Mountain Shooting Excursion

You’ll board one of Scenic’s iconic helicopters and fly over beautiful Douglas Lake on your way to Iron Mountain Sporting Clays. In the summer, you’ll see sun-glistening views of the water and people enjoying their time on the lake. In the winter months, TVA lowers the water level generating electricity, so you’ll have majestic views of exposed islands and coves. This roundtrip flight offers distant views of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Iron Mountain Sporting Clays is the premier destination for sporting clays, super sporting, and 5-stand in the East Tennessee region. Upon landing at Iron Mountain, you’ll be greeted by a staff member who will escort you to the office, assist you in signing in, and will provide step-by-step instructions before you head out to the range on your own personal golf cart.

With two courses to choose from, Iron Mountain Sporting Clays offers serious shotgun enthusiasts and beginners alike a safe and fun experience. Each station uses the natural setting of the foothills of the Smokies to create challenging, but breakable targets. Your shooting experience includes golf cart and gun rental, safety equipment, ammo, targets, snacks, and water.
